COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS

Prologue multi-site adult education, adult vocational and health/quality of life programs are free and open to anyone 17 or older, except where noted. These programs target many of those who must overcome similar hurdles as students enrolled in our high schools.
Most students generally complete the program they choose. Allied Health, the largest, boasts an 80-85 percent placement rate. Those pursuing their GED may begin at a second grade reading level and typically continue their studies for two to three years. About 40 percent have already earned their GED.
Given their maturity and self-motivation, those attending our Community Based Programs take responsibility for conducting themselves appropriately and following facility guidelines. We allow great latitude in attendance and (except for GED certificates) for what constitutes “completion.”
Adult Vocational Training
